Re: Myles Kennedy is confused

Let's not make any assumptions of people's mental state based on who they voted for. It never really leads to anywhere that creates pleasant discussions.

Re: Myles - Cleveland, OH - November 19, 2018

Zia Uddin - drummer for The Mayfield Four and did drums for Year of the Tiger

Tim Tournier - bassist for a band (Man The Mighty they are called I believe) that occasionally opens for Tremonti. Also did bass for Year of the Tiger and is AB, Tremonti, and Myles' manager.

Re: Myles Kennedy is confused

Well, while writing the album, AB already knew it was going to be either Hilary or Trump as president and neither choices were really great choices that everyone can agree on. The whole theme about The Last Hero isn't really wanting just a leader. It is wanting someone that everyone can rally behind...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Lovebites' CLOCKWORK IMMORTALITY album (yes, the title and the song tracks is all in caps according to Spotify). The 31st album released in 2018 that I have listened to. So I stumbled upon listening to this band while reading a thread in another forum talking about J Pop and J Rock and someone menti...

Re: AB VI Speculation

https://youtu.be/C0DGvZR67ZI A recent interview from Mark about the typical questions regarding A Dying Machine album. He stated that AB will be in the studio around late March and April to get AB VI done and that once Mark finish tracking his parts, Tremonti will be doing the festival run (already...

Poets of the Fall - Fool's Paradise

Just another beautiful sounding song from these guys. The new album is "ok". I didn't enjoy it as much as Clearview though.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Yeah, I agree. Solid album. I sorta wished that I did not pass on those summer deals where tickets in the 300 sections were like $25 for the Bad Wolves/Nothing More/FFDP/Breaking Benjamin amphitheater tour last summer.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Nothing More's The Stories We Tell Ourselves album.

You know, for whatever reasons, I never got to listen to this album in full. That stated, I've been hearing a couple of tracks from them on Octane and I like it and I hear good things about the album, so let's give this a listen.

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

I went with the Sushi Bar where the plates cost $2.50 a plate and they gave you 3-4 pieces per plate. It was all right. Some of the rolls were really filling, some were so-so. I probably should I have gone with the buffet instead. I would have gotten dessert.

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

All right, I'm back from the TSO concert. Like most great things in life, I didn't think when people said their stage show and musicianship is something to behold, I thought "it can't be that great." What a bloody great show. It's everything you want in a high-budget, high-produced show th...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

I got even a better question. So I'm going to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, tomorrow. It's going to be a long drive to Ontario, CA. I'm contemplating what I want to eat around the area and narrowed it down to two options. Either I'm spending around $30.00 at an all you can eat buffet that has su...

Re: AB VI Speculation

True, but I think them (and by them, I mean AB, Tremonti, Myles along with Sevendust, whose friends with AB, and has their fair share of issues from the business end of the music industry) being all in the same management team (Janus Music Management headed by Tim Tournier, a friend of theirs), I th...

Re: AB VI Speculation

I mean in the event that AB does not want to work with Elvis, anymore, I think a guy like Nick Raskulinecz wouldn't be the worst guy to gel well with AB. He's worked with a lot of various bands from Foo Fighters, Stone Sour, Evanescence, Rush, Alice in Chains, Trivium, Halestorm, etc. Just not Rick ...

Re: Myles Kennedy - "Year of the Tiger"

Well, technically, there is also a Top 30 metal album list from Loudwire as well, but they decided to lump A Dying Machine in the Hard Rock categories. Don't know what they are thinking, but a win for this album on a site like Loudwire is a win anyway.

Re: Myles Kennedy - "Year of the Tiger"

Year of the Tiger was deemed from Loudwire's best Hard Rock album of 2018. Was a solid year for albums in 2018. Some solid like Sevendust's All I See is War (which was not included in this list which is a darn shame) and Breaking Benjamin's Ember. Some average with a couple of redeeming moments (Hal...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

TSO's Beethoven's Last Night album. Apparently, it is the first TSO album to not have anything Christmas-related, so I guess I wouldn't expect to hear anything from it at the concert then. Still, music is music, let's give it a listen. Edit: Hours later, I got enough time for one more TSO album for ...

Re: A Dying Machine - Tour 2018

It’s unusual to have a man in a ski mask jamming on bass during that break lol... Man I love this band. Still jam a dying machine daily. Wearing one of my five Tremonti shirts now... wonder how long they’ll get with Sevendust. A guy came into my work one time wearing a sevendust shirt and we got to...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Man, I'm glad that today is pay day for me, because I just nabbed me some tickets for these shows (costed less than $170 for two tickets in the 200s). I Am The Highway - Tribute to Chris Cornell (A special concert where the surviving members of Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Audioslave along wi...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Summer, I'm just busy with my job and playing WoW in my free time. Seeing my beloved LA Kings deteriorate before our eyes due to terrible management moves and bad coaching decisions. I don't think I have ever stated that I was going to make the world a better place. Just trying to get by. Day by day...
