Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread

I would highly suggest the live DVD, Rock in Rio. There's something about hundreds of thousands South American fans going crazy for almost anything and it has something in all eras (pre-Bruce, classic, Blaze era, and a good amount of stuff from their album they were touring at the time, Brave New Wo...

Is he main eventing?! The Trooper! Don't know much about this song to be honest (or Iron Maiden), but this sounds great so far. Well, Inky, it's time to learn about Iron Maiden. If anyone wants to learn a lot about the history of Iron Maiden, I suggest this thread. This thread discusses not just th...

Well, Corey Taylor looks like he's closing this thing.

Edit: And it's another cover with him on the piano. Interesting.

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread

Here's the Youtube link. Haven't seen Myles yet.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BNUM8r1hlY

He's finally up. At the 2 hours mark.

Edit: Well, that was a bummer. He only covered his acoustic cover of The Trooper.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Sevendust's cover of The Day I Tried to Live. Apparently, they wanted to do a Soundgarden cover for some time now and Elvis was the one that suggested "The Day I Tried to Live." I mean it sounds all right. Now let's see if Elvis can use the same convincing powers here, but for AB now. Hmmm?

Alter Bridge - Clear Horizon

I think we need this band's lyrics from Walk the Sky now more than ever.

Re: Creed getting back together in 2020?

Michael is not Mark. Why would Mark have his brother go out there and speak for him when Mark himself could easily go on his own socials and tell people what he wants. Mark will do what he wants and maybe michael is right and maybe he's not. I think though, there is more demand for a creed record t...

Re: What's Next Musically for Alter Bridge? A Concept Album?

I just need them to play longer shows. You got six albums of great songs and it's a shame if some doesn't get played live and the shows, at this point, is down to just singles, a couple of obvious favorites, and a few from the newest album. I think if they do shows without openers in the states, it ...

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread

Well, something that is very uncommon. A Brian interview and yes, and he confirms that they officially debt free from the loan they got to buyout out of that Wind-Up Record contract (if anyone is still questioning about that). Also, he did admit that buying out of that contract was probably the bigg...

Re: Tremonti on His Relationship With Stapp

I don't know why we are bringing whose more popular into this topic. Whose being bigger had nothing to with this topic at all. This ain't about whose popular. It's about one guy that's probably not in the mood of working with another guy for the time being due to a rather conflicted history. At the ...

Re: Tremonti on His Relationship With Stapp

One more point I would like to make. Mark has “three bands” okay that’s great. I don’t think Brian hates Stapp, don’t think Flip hates Stapp, Been on record that Stapp would love to do Creed again and I have never heard Brian or flip say that’s not gonna happen. Why’s Mark the dictator of what happ...

Re: Tremonti on His Relationship With Stapp

Oh yeah, a Creed reunion tour if it were to happen this year (and if this year wouldn't have been the year that Alter Bridge would push on touring their album) and everyone was on the same page, it would sell. I mean you look at all the bands that planned on doing a summer tour this year in outdoor ...

Re: Tremonti on His Relationship With Stapp

Also, just because a song has more complex guitar work or solos doesn’t make it automatically better. Sure, complex guitar work counts for something, but so does a catchy melody....regardless of how simple or complex the song may be. Some of the Creed melodies are simple but great and memorable. At...

Uhhhhh, I don't think you should be the one to talk about spelling errors. Then again, does it even count if the word wasn't an actual word outside of the song?
