Re: What are you listening to right now?

^^ No clue, on another note. I am really enjoying Sevendust's Animosity and Seasons albums. I feel like they are hitting their stride in this period.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Bump Of Chicken's Aurora Arc album. The 20th album released in 2019 I have listened to. So I have one JPop/JRock as my favorite album of the year so far (that's Aimer's Sun Dance). I must say, I'm really enjoying the style of it and I've been listening to these guys' catalog from time to time and I'...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Been listening to Devour the Day and Pop Evil in getting ready to see them open for Sevendust and Skillet in LA. I don't know why I initially wrote off Pop Evil. They got some decent stuff, Edit: All right, finally going to listen to Sevendust's whole catalog. I didn't think too much about the self-...

Re: AB VI Studio/Recording Thread

I think it's more of us, that feels like we can hear the orchestra clearly, are not really looking at certain things or care about certain things that other people look at when bands play with an orchestra. I can piece them a lot throughout the DVD. Then again, I didn't watch S&M or Within Tempt...

Re: $$$

I think Myles has claimed that he still has the same house that he have gotten via being a guitar teacher in that period between Mayfield Four ending and Alter Bridge beginning. It's not he actually needs to buy expensive property since he's only there for like two months out of the year since he's ...

Re: AB VI Studio/Recording Thread

I can hear the orchestra for the most part of the DVD as well. They did what they needed to do. I didn't want it to be too "in your face" about it because then it overshadows the band. Besides, for once, I can actually hear Brian's bass lines, something that other live releases didn't do t...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Zaz, in the six or so years that I've regularly posted in this thread, I do not think anyone, at all, thought that your full name is offensive.

You can just shorten it to just Zaz. I don't think when anyone here refers you, they do not include "thespaz."

Re: AB VI Studio/Recording Thread

Well, they are focusing on Wouldn't You Rather. It is the lead single, after all. Like almost every day, I've been seeing plugs on Twitter asking for the fans to request it on radio and all. I mean they didn't have to announce or release another song before the album is out you know (remember, the o...

Re: AB VI Studio/Recording Thread

We're not supposed to divulge any indication that there is a leak out (if you see a leak, report them to AB's team). On top of that, we're not supposed to discuss any material that hasn't been officially released by the band yet and honestly, we shouldn't out of good faith. Bands, in general, have a...

Re: Alter Bridge Walk the Sky Tour 2019

Gasometer, Vienna SOLD OUT! https://i.ibb.co/J2JGz0v/Captura.png I mean, when you played a venue the most out of any venue in the world in the history of this band like AB has with the Gasometer. At this point, not selling it out would be a disappointment. Edit: Actually, I take that back. The Chic...

Re: New Slash/MK Album On The Way

Lol. At the show I was at, Myles played an SG. Weirdness. Even more weird that Myles gets this guitar only to play 3 chords during the Anastasia outro. It's a pretty darn long outro, plus it's the final song of the set so, might as well play it out rather than stand around not doing much in the clo...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Well, when I'm traveling to venues I've never been to before, especially in LA, I get pretty scared (i.e. my insane paranoia figuring out where to park at the Troubadour when seeing Myles last year).

Edit: On another note, how reliable is parkwhiz when it comes to buying parking passes?

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Arghhhh, found myself in yet another parking pickle here. So Iron Maiden is playing LA at the Banc of California stadium next month (which starts what I will deem the greatest week of my life) which is in the USC area. Parking at the stadium costs $40.00. That's a no go for me. I've asked around oth...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Social media is such a headache to post worthwhile thoughts, especially Twitter's new layout. Who honestly thought that layout was needed? Nobody. That stated, now I have an idea of how discord works, but I think I'm ready to join a discord channel with you guys.

Re: 15th anniversary of One Day Remains

It's a funny thing. These guys look so young at the time of ODR (and they were only like in their 30s at that point). Now Myles is turning 50 this year and everyone else is in their late 40s, but they haven't aged much since AB III. That's a nice find you got there Torsten and it's quite shocking on...

Might as well challenge Zaz to do the task of updating the boards. He should be up for the challenge.
