Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread

Ehhh, there's not much to talk about nowadays due to this pandemic, so here's an interview from Edge talking about his love for Hard Rock/Metal. Naturally, they talked about Metalingus and AB, in general at some point, in high praise of course. https://metalinjection.net/podcasts/squaredcirclepit/sq...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Sweet, now show me where to buy a sizable SSD Drive for under $100.00 and while you're at it, show me how to install it.

Aimer - Spark Again

This is a pretty good upbeat song that's used as a theme song for an anime called Fire Force. I never saw or read the series before, but I think based on a title like that alone, this song makes sense.

Why must they do this to us NA people? I wonder if it will be available after 9 PM PST like normal releases?

Re: Walk The Sky 2.0

Very cool that it's a new song and not "just" a B-side! Does anyone have a good interpretation of the Native Son video? Normally I'm good with this stuff but I have to admit, this one wasn't very clear to me (even though the animation is really cool. I think it goes with the theme of the ...

Here's some links.

Also, we got a music video for Native Son. Honestly, pretty different than the videos we are used to seeing.

Re: Post-grunge & Modern Hark Rock of 00's

Yep, I was going to suggest Edgewater. Their big song was Eyes Wired Shut and I really liked that song. One other band that I will bring up is Crossfade. I heard them on Turbo from time to time. Their self-titled album seems solid for its time. Well, I've been listening to a lot of Default, lately. ...

You guys talking like this is an issue or something. I'm all for longer songs in the veins of Providence. I mean it's not like Michael said that this song was going to be "progressive" or something.

^^ Yeah, I guess it may be Region-locked, because I know Spotify does not have it in California.

Anyway, here's a recent video of Myles having a conversation with Joe Bonamassa.

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread

You know, on that note, I'm wondering why Live from Amsterdam and Live at Wembley isn't on Spotify (but Live at the O2 Arena and Live at Royal Albert Hall is). Is this something we have to suffer from in the DC3 debacle? I wouldn't mind listening to New Way to Live on the regular on my Spotify playl...

A blend of I think Pineapple and Orange Italian Ice with a scoop of Ice Cream on top. They also put some sort of spice flakes on it and this thing is low-key spicy. Spicy and cold. Something you didn't think your palette would take in at once.

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread

We haven't heard anything from them officially, yet, but someone from another thread found a link (looks like that link got taken down now) that leads to a live album EP that has Walk the Sky live tracks and features one new studio track. Again, I always take anything with a grain of salt until the ...

I'm reading it from the link as 10 euros. Is that correct? Nothing announced from AB's twitter about it yet. We may have stumbled upon a link of something unannounced. Please don't blame us, Timmy, for finding it.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Well, no hockey to watch at the moment. Also, no Twitch streams of interest to watch. So I might as well go back and find a DVD to watch and I'm going to go in a different twist. ONE OK ROCK with Orchestra Japan Tour 2018 set. I've first heard about One OK Rock when their lead singer sang Linkin Par...

New song. Jebus, it's been two years since the last bump? Yikes. Anywho, it's called World on Fire. I like it. I think it's a step towards an enjoyable direction to me. It has a bit of a hard rock edge that they used to bring in their sound. Hopefully, if they do release an album this year, it would...

Re: What's Next Musically for Alter Bridge? A Concept Album?

Other examples would also include Year of the Tiger, I think, which tells a story of the experiences Myles and his family went through the year his father passed away. A Dying Machine was also kinda a concept album, although, the album doesn't tell a story in in order of its track listing and that's...

Re: What's Next Musically for Alter Bridge? A Concept Album?

The thing was that Godspeed was the official second single for Walk the Sky. It may not have been the second song released for the album, but was the next single to go out for radio back in December. I think I heard it a few times on Octane. I can't tell before the pandemic began and I stopped liste...

Yeah, but it's also a shot from when Shinedown was on the AB Fall Europe tour last year. I do think this would have been more appropriate in the Shinedown thread though.
