Re: A Dying Machine Novel Pre-order/Discussion Thread

Yeah, but still. Why wait a year after the first release date of the book though?

Re: A Dying Machine Novel Pre-order/Discussion Thread

Huh. Decided to take a look to see if A Dying Machine novel was on Amazon and it is and can be pre-ordered.

https://www.amazon.com/Dying-Machine-Ma ... 1635766575

Would be released on November 5th, 2019....... Why such a long wait in comparison to buying it on Fret12?

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Trivium's Drowning in the Sound.

Apparently, this is an unreleased song from The Sin and the Sentence writing cycle. Good stuff as usual from them.

Re: AB VI Studio/Recording Thread

I'm a bit confused of that post. I always thought how AB creates songs is that Mark and Myles always has ideas and they share them among each other when they have the chance outside of their other bands and when pre-pro comes, they all come together to form songs and Flip and Brian fills in the blan...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Did you see ERock there? I know I didn't see him, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was there in some way. I knew he sent a tweet that he saw them live at the Jimmy Kimmel show, the day prior. I sent a response tweet saying that I was at their Orpheum Theater show sporting an AB shirt repping Tremo...

Re: The Official STARSET Thread

^^ Yeah, I agree. People complain about the lack of modern bands making it to arena status or has a sound that differs from your typical active rock/metal band, but that doesn't mean there aren't any interesting modern bands that gets play in outlets like Octane. Starset is great. You listed a coupl...

The Official STARSET Thread

I'm surprised it took us this long to get a thread going, but I know Andy and AB4Lyfe are fans of them among others here so I might as well get this going. https://townsquare.media/site/366/files/2019/05/Starset-Tour.png?w=1200&h=1193&q=75 Per Loudwire, Starset sent us a transmission on when...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Aimer's Sun Dance & Penny Rain albums. The 11th and 12th album released in 2019 that I have listened to. So yeah, I've been listening to a lot of Aimer and yeah, her albums like Dawn and Daydream are pretty good. Her voice is not just good and distinctive, but I do think the instrumentals are re...

Re: 2019 dates?

^^ Perhaps, but I don't think Mark recording backing vocals in AB VI would do that big of a number to his overall live voice. Typically, his backing vocals in AB shouldn't cause too much of a strain. If it did then, Myles should technically have it worst, especially when he's going to spend the next...

I don't know what happened, but all I can say is that I hope he didn't sound like that in any vocals he provided for AB VI.

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread

Hey guys. So we all know that AB recently announced that the listening party for AB VI is on September 17th. Already bought a ticket for it about a week after they had it on sale back in February, I think. The good news is that is not on the weekend that I'm seeing Iron Maiden, so I don't have to ca...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Man...wish I lived near a big city for concerts lol It's a great feeling. I'm only like 60-75 minutes away from LA. Only 15 minutes away from Anaheim. Around 20-30 minutes away from Irvine. If I still reside in Diamond Bar, going to concerts would have been a lot worst traveling wise. It would be l...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

I do not know what I got myself into for the next 4.5 months in terms of concerts. I planned 5 concerts in the year of 2018. I have that alone in the span of 5 weeks in late August/September. Here's my list below so far of upcoming shows. I think I'm mad for thinking that I can go see Breaking Benja...

Re: AB VI Studio/Recording Thread

Can't snapshot Tweet, but AB announced it this morning. Listening Party will be on September 17th. One day after the Breaking Benjamin concert in Irvine. Am I mad that I want to do both and try to catch an early flight to Orlando early on September 17th? Yes, yes I do. This is going to be a fun summ...

Re: AB VI Studio/Recording Thread

Looks like when they got in for pre-production was in mid-March. They started recording in early April. We are now in end of April. So 1.5 months to get everything done and recorded and ready to be mixed.

Re: AB VI Studio/Recording Thread

I recall back in an interview from Brian when he briefly talked about Blackbird being 10 years old on how people really dig the cover where you would see plenty of fans have tattoos of the bird and how it would be a bit awkward from a visual perspective if fans have the hero tattooed from The Last H...
