Re: The Official SKILLET Thread

All right, did some digging around Twitter/Facebook to get a code, but I got the tickets for the LA show at the Wiltern. Only $50.00 for GA. I could have paid another $14.00 to get pit tickets, but it's on a Sunday, I probably should get there way earlier to get front of the GA section. It's the sam...

Re: Alter Bridge Fall Tour 2019

I feel like AB should be higher in the order on Sunday, and there are some odd pairings on each day, but that's the same old story. It's nice to see a new big festival like this in the U.S. Honestly, when it comes on the Sunday, I think AB is as high as they can get. Deftones, Coheed and Cambria, a...

Alter Bridge Fall Tour 2019

Awww, snaps. They are coming back, baby, with a festival show in Manchester, Tennessee. https://i.imgur.com/CghEA0g.png https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D415FM5XoAEsJ8C.jpg Well, this may be awkward. I think this may be the first time since Slash rejoined GNR that GNR and AB is in the same day line-up in...

Re: The Official SKILLET Thread

Awww, snaps. Skillet and Sevendust co-headline tour and the LA show is at the Wiltern. September 1st. My September is already too busy and got three shows including the AB listening party. I might as well add one more. I’m a little surprised it is in The Wiltern. I would think either bands can fill ...

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread

Stapp seems to be saying the same lines in regards to the Creed question... It's neither a yes or no answer. Which is kind of strange how he's answering the questions in the same way, almost from a script. Most of the time he says he's open to it, like he openly did on dr. oz where he publicly aske...

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread

Official Video: https://youtu.be/wDRQXrRtE5M It's basically the previously discovered performance video but with additional "story" segments spliced in. 2:00 - "I didn't know *NSYNC got back together..." From what I read in headlines, NSYNC did get back together for a brief mome...

Re: AB VI Speculation

Jesus. That hockey game in Tampa could not have possibly been very fun. I was thinking the same thing. I'm surprised he got any good words in with him at all, given the colossal disaster Tampa Bay faced that night. :lol Ya guys , this season...it's like a nuclear meltdown disaster site. Run as fast...

Re: AB VI Studio/Recording Thread

Going back to the topic of the fact that AB has managed to finalized 14 songs to be ready to be recorded in a matter of weeks. I stumbled upon this interview from Scott Stapp. He stated that songs like Say I, Higher, and With Arms Wide Open comes from soundchecks. Mark was fiddling around with stuff...

Re: I been after you for quite a while now and old WoW Classic

I mean, I'll still play classic WoW when it comes out, but I enjoy WoW as it is right now. Having 4 million gold on hand helps a lot. Getting 40 people in a raid seems to be really tough to organize and I think this what raids nowadays has over the early days of WoW where the mobs scales based on th...

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread

Can AB place a rule where the opening bands of their next US tour be ones that will not have more radio plays on Sirius X.M. Octane than AB in the long game? These were the bands that opened for them in their headlining tours in the US during The Last Hero tour: Nonpoint, In Flames, and All That Rem...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Yeah, I agree. It's started ok with Bow Down and Every Time You Leave, but other than that, there were songs that was just there to fill space, not really much I can recall or want to relisten to. You think with a 40 minute album, they would make those minutes count, but I don't think they did that....

Re: What are you listening to right now?

I Prevail's Trauma album. The 8th album released in 2019 that I have listened to. Only listened to 8 albums this year. I'm getting lazy, but enough about that. So I Prevail released a decent album in the form of Lifelines in 2016. I've heard a few songs on Octane and they seem to be tolerable/ok and...

E-Rock never actually contributed anything to Creed. He was just the touring guitarist.

Yes. Do not reinstall the update. Says the man practicing medicine without a PhD. Well, good news, Zaz. I don't do any of the three you listed. That stated, I'm going to do a systems restore and turn off automatic updates as I think the problem is due to the fact that I had a particular anti-virus ...

Hey guys, I have a bit of an issue. Then it looks like my desktop is non-responsive to anything I attempted to do. Wh...

Re: AB VI Studio/Recording Thread

Funny, you think the stuff Myles does with Slash is deemed progressive where I think they are more of a modern throwback to that 80s hard rock sound/Aerosmith influences that Slash really wears on his back. I think the Fortress album has just the right amount of going heavy/progressive/darker/moodie...

At the Switchfoot show at the last show at the Wiltern theater, that I’m heading to in a long while. I think I should get a good spot. Edit: And I'm back from the concert. WOW. I didn't think it would take a little more than two weeks after seeing Within Temptation (which I had pegged as a tough con...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Poets of the Fall - Roses I always say this in a lot of Poets of the Fall songs, but I just love the way that there's a certain beauty and imagery with their music and lyrics. I just wish they are big enough to do a tour in the states and not just in their native land of Finland. The only US show th...
