Just finished Series 1 - awesome & can't wait for Series 2 (we're watching it on DVD here!) but was gutted when they killed off Sean Bean.

Personally I don't have a problem with a small amount of "assistance" live. I've been to gigs in the past (Def Leppard & Whitesnake both instantly come to mind) when the vocals just haven't been up to it and consequently I came away a bit disappointed - not good when you've forked out ...
