Well it takes time to shop for a publisher and work out a deal. Probably had to show that he had a bit of a fanbase to sell to as well.

Maybe thats why he sounds like that, maybe he blow his vocals out on AB VI

Re: A Dying Machine - Tour 2018

Agreed Lenny, I need 3 but I didn't get to it in time :( Just looked at the capacity of that show. Only 550 people. Two of those means 1,100 tickets available. I mean Tremonti can probably fill one show at the Machine Shop by themselves. You would think a Sevendust/Tremonti pairing would give them ...

If anyone has Greensboro tickets I can PayPal the money...

So glad I bought my tickets for that a couple of weeks ago. I was going to wait but I know that place is kinda small.

Re: ALTER BRIDGE - Live at the O2 Arena + Rarities

ARTS started out as just something Mark was doing for Total Guitar been then the whole band joined in. It isn't necessarily meant to be a song or AB track, just a shred track for a magazine to use as a lesson.

Re: Why does AB ignore much of ODR in its live set?

That's what I said in my earlier message. Mark is apparently still practicing a lot and writing all the time, so his playing should be even tighter than it was in the past! He actually doens't practice as much as he used to. There was an interview not too long ago when he said that on tour he doesn...

Re: Alter Bridge/Creed/Mark Tremonti Tuning Master List

Arm Yourself is in A# Standard (A#,D#,G#,C#,F,A)(with a possible D# on the end, if played on a 7-string, which I believe is, based on this article. https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/news/general_music_news/mark_tremonti_names_favorite_guitar_tuning_its_impossible_to_make_anything_sound_bad_in_it.html...

Re: Alter Bridge/Creed/Mark Tremonti Tuning Master List

After seeing the live version of Words there's no way its in an open tuning. Or at least for Mark. He's clearly playing straight power chords at times. Myles could be in an open tuning but it looks more like a drop d or something. He plays a D chord shape (relative to standard tuning) during the ch...

Re: Peace Is Broken... Live?

I think with PIB Mark is the more hesitant one because of the main riff. With CTTG I think is hard for Myles because of the subject matter.

Now or Never could fit but doesn't actually tell anything. Lyrically it's doesn't seem to necessarily push a narrative.

Re: Alter Bridge/Creed/Mark Tremonti Tuning Master List

In regards to the bonus tracks: Breathe, Solace and Cruel Sun are all Eb Standard I think. New Way to Live - Drop D and a half step down The Damage Done - BADGBE and a half step down We Don't Care At All - Drop D and a half step down Zero - Drop D and a half step down Home - BFBEGC and a half step ...

You sure it's not this friday? Either way Itunes does have the song length up for "as the silence becomes me" so it's definitely that one.

Re: Myles Kennedy - "Year of the Tiger"

Wow. I must say that I have been more excited for this album than any other for about 7-10 years now. But the songs and the other tidbits I have heard about it have been dreadfully disappointing. Haunted by Design was the only one that was average, and I still found it to be quite a boring song. Wh...

Re: Tremonti pt #4 - A Dying Machine

Not as much as Cauterize, but I definitely didn't dislike it. I think the double albums had 4 or 5 really good songs, a bunch of songs averaging between good and okay and then a handful of fillers. My previous comment wasn't a diss at Cauterize or Dust. I just don't like the idea of them scraping t...
