Re: The Official ALICE IN CHAINS Thread

Still listening and ripping the CD to my laptop but this album sounds great even on my laptop. First track (Til the Light Guides Me Home) is crystal clear vocals and acoustic.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Texas King's album Circles reminds me of Kings of Leon on some tracks. Their live show was really energetic and got me paying attention.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Texas King. No idea why a Canadian band has that name but enjoyed them opening for Big Wreck recently.

Re: The Official BIG WRECK Thread

I saw Big Wreck live at a tiny venue in Albany and they were amazing. Tempted to go see them in Boston but there's that whole annoying employment thing.

Re: The Official ALICE IN CHAINS Thread

I’m psyched to hear William DuVall’s solo acoustic album. He said in an interview it was all recorded in two separate days. Produced it himself.

Nice. Haven't been able to see them in a long time and would love to hear some of Catacombs live.

The title track is my favorite so far. The posted all the tracks on their official YouTube and they're on Spotify and whatnot.

Re: Like A Storm

Been listening to the Catacombs album on repeat since I got it. Some of it is too produced for my tastes but that's true of most modern rock, and I don't like growly vocals but they're what the kids are into these days, and I was listening to a lot of old Zeppelin recently which is the other end of ...

Yay. Wow, if my search result was right, that Canada location is far north of Toronto. They must be going by private plane.

Re: Soundgarden and Chris Cornell

Some of us have been watching these guys review hard rock/metal bands on other threads. Jesus Christ Pose was a terrible first suggestion for them to hear but I'm glad they gave SG another shot. Fun to watch them discover the brilliance that is Outshined:

Much as I love them, I wasn't quite sure from all the clips they were posting whether I'd like this particular song, but I love it. :rockon
