Re: AB V

I was thinking that during the promotion of Fortress Myles revealed that he has Crohns disease. So his diet would have to be very precise, as not to flare that up.

Re: DUST - The Second Part

Ask Adele about that, she held her stuff off of Apple Music and Spotify, and sold 3.29 million albums in the first week. I know she's super mainstream, but she forced you to buy something to hold not download. I think you have to try anything you can to break even, or close to even as it gets these ...

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread

This guy isn't as technical as Mark, we've all seen videos of Mark doing what he can do. And in those You Tube videos he sounds sloppy. Go look at Steve Vai shredding, then look at this guy. Like Mr. Slash said they are equals not one over the other. Plus Mark more than likely could write circles ar...

Re: The Official BIG WRECK Thread

Just started rediscovering Big Wreck, I forgot how great this band is. Ian as a singer and guitar player is totally awesome. Haven't really listened to his solo stuff but may have to after reading some of the comments around here.

Re: The "AB III" Appreciation Thread

AB III was my favorite AB album, until Fortress came out. From start to finish it flows really well, and to me still stands up well. If I had one gripe with it, I wish they could remix it to get the huge feel that Fortress has. But that's not a back breaker. 1.Slip to the Void 2.All Hope Is Gone 3.S...

Re: Official TRIVIUM Thread

Just listened to the new album today, thought is was pretty good. The guitars sounded really good, Elvis is doing some really good work with that new console. This is the first Trivium record I've ever bought, thought I would give it a spin, since they are on tour with Tremonti. Think I'll buy some ...

Re: AB V

At least AB aren't on Tools time frames. As a die hard Tool fan, the wait for eleven songs feels like an eternity. I've literally aged ten years sine their last release.

Re: AB V

James Hetfield once said that Load and Re-Load was a terrible album because they had like fifty songs and it made the product bad. Remember when bands only did eight to ten songs, they were the best for that album, and made you want more. And everyone seems to like Blackbird, Fortress, Cry of Achill...

Re: Praise for Mark from Kee Marcello (Ex-Europe)

I wasn't going to post anything in here, but who the hell cares what Europes ex guitarist thinks of Marks solos or playing. He may be a good guitar player, but it's not like he is Satriani, Vai, or Randy Rhoads. He likes his rhythm, but not his solos, who cares. Europe to me wasn't all that good, ju...

Re: The "AB III" Appreciation Thread

Listened to AB III today, and I thought if Elvis could redo the production, it would sound huge. After hearing what he did with Tremonti and Fortress, but if memory recalls he didn't mix the album. Other than production I rank it as my second favorite AB album, with Fortress as my favorite.

Thanks for the info Ryan, I have had my eyes on that color since I seen a SC 250 a GC in Indianapolis a few years back. It will be a stop tail for me as well.

Tremonti II
Breaking Benjamin
Metallica-But that may be out in 2016.
Megadeth-Only if it doesn't have a stupid name like Super Collider. Plus I'm hoping Marty Friedman will be back, I won't hold my breath for that though.

Re: Tremonti II Sneak Peak

I want that Jade green ax Mark is playing in the first peak. I know you can get the ONE, but I don't think I could front the $5,500 for the ONE. I don't know if Tim will see this message, but I would like to know if that model is a production model, or just built for this occasion. Other than that t...

Re: Scott Stapp Public Statement

Stapp is unfortunately, in my opinion, probably not going to be here much longer. This is sounding similar to Layne Staley when he was at the end. One of the last interviews Layne gave, he was in this state of mind, of blaming others, and saying that no one had his back anymore. Then weeks later he ...

Re: Stapp Cancels His Tour

The pressures of the business, and trying to stay relevant can make one relapse over and over. Jani Lane of Warrant is case in point, as he once said said trying to get past being the Cherry Pie guy just never happened. In the end he just couldn't take it, and let the demons get him. Steven Adler ca...

Re: Stapp Cancels His Tour

Sad to see, but why does everyone have to make it seem as if Mark, Flip, and Brian are the root to his problems. Stapp, as someone mentioned above, should try to get a new revenue source, because he is going to just keep falling if he stays in the music biz. I don't know his finances, but if he has ...
