Re: Official "The Last Hero" Thread
Love it, I like it better then what we got last time.
What? I'm talking about Star Wars The Force Awakens you silly, I waited years for this movie, recently re-watched it at home after seeing it at cinema last year, still holds up.
Can't wait for Episode 8 man, hopefully Rogue One will deliver too.

Re: DUST Listener Reviews
I listened to it all two or three times. And looking through all current replies I might be the only one, but shit: I find this one of the most boring things he has ever done. Yes the riffs are cool, yes his solos and singing are great. But I feel we already had this exact same record with Cauteriz...

Re: The Official BLACK STONE CHERRY Thread
Listening to the album now (it's out on Spotify), will post my thoughts after a few days.
Learn your classics sir, this is a coverMr. Slash wrote:"War" is... pretty special. The hook is pretty cringey and could have come from some 12 year old.

They will never fully win me back until they release this masterpiece: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xsd7C3dMvEY It was one of the songs they had for the 3rd record, before the external writers came in and, well you know... I'd love to hear the rest of the demos they had lying around back then too.

Thanks man glad you like it!
I have a few EP's planned for the future that will all feature vocals from different vocalists.
The first one will be very different though it's going to be a pop rock EP, high female vocals, lot's of violin etc, I like to make something a bit different each release

Re: Tremonti 2 Writing/Recording Sessions
I hope the new stuff will be more organic writing wise and no thrown together pieces. Atleast not in the vain of the debut containing metal riffs with old AB chorus ideas.

Re: Slash ft. MK & The Conspirators "WORLD ON FIRE"
Liked Bent to Fly, though the intro made me (and a lot of people) say 'Anastasia?' too fast and the bridge going into the solo was same old and sounded like way to much we heard already. Other than that great song though, love the chorus!

Dayviewers Demo Archive (ancient ideas finally recorded)
Hi guys! So a while ago I've been looking into my old ''ideas'' folder again full of guitar pro files. Seeing stuff dating back to 2010 with the occasional gem here and there. Never recorded like 80% of it, and there is very little chance I would still ever use it in a band. So I thought ah, what th...

Re: Building a guitar for Mark
This is looking good! Scary that you are designing a new neck profile yourself though, with the logic you have you also just could have gone with the Endur Neck Profile: http://guitarworks.thestrandbergs.com/wp-content/7s-twist-2.jpg And yes it looks odd but it really works amazing. Anyway definitel...

Re: SEVENDUST
http://loudwire.com/sevendust-black-acoustic-exclusive-song-premiere/ I'm sure people are going to hear this and say it's too generic or nitpick at something mundane. Nope! I love it, really refreshing to hear this kind of stuff acoustic, cool jam, looking forward to the rest of the acoustic album!

Re: What are you listening to right now?
I listened to that this morning. Jeff Loomis is awesome, but I miss Nevermore. I loved that band. Loomis is definitely awesome! Keith Merrow makes this album for me with his riffs though :rockon I think he and Jeff make an incredible combo! Could never really get into Nevermore because of the vocal...
