Re: Magazine - Interview

Yeah we've known for a while Myles was considering what to do then we knew a few months ago he gave up on it. Kinda sad really and it makes it a bit more odd to hear he just plopped out 25 more that we'll probably only get to hear maybe half of. Also exciting to hear they will likely start playing ...

Re: The Official LINKIN PARK Thread

I haven't listened to LP in years, but I'm sure like a ton of people my age on here, they were one of the first bands I really got into. I'd probably still be able to sing along to the whole of Hybrid Theory and Meteora today. It's just desperately sad.

RIP Chester.

Re: The Fitness Thread

Finally went out again yesterday for the first time in months. There were no excuses left - the weather was great, I didn't have a twinge in my knee, my head was clear and I hadn't just eaten an entire pizza (I have indeed used this as an excuse before). I thought I'd keep it slow, not worry about d...

Re: What floats your boat?

I'm not sure how I feel about taking Ubik seriously after his makeover... Still in my period of mourning, butters will be back when I'm feeling ready :lol Well, that or a small poem. I want one of the SNES classics really bad, but I feel like it'll require trampling over masses of people at a Walma...

Re: Cradle to the Grave vid reaction

He always skips the final part of Wonderful Life for that reason, Cradle to the Grave perhaps isn't quite as on the nose as that but I guess he could have similar problems.

Re: Alter Bridge Summer Europe Tour 2017

Yeah they've played Lover a few times before, on one of the first times Myles did an improvised solo as well as the vocal awesomeness and it was just generally amazing. One of my favourite ones they perform live just because Myles seems to transport himself back to the MF4 days for it. And if they'r...

Re: The Star Wars Thread (The Last Jedi Teasers Inside)

I see all the weaknesses of TFA when I'm watching it, but at the same time I still love it. That's partly due to the (bad) memories of the prequels being fresh and being glad it's more of a vibe with the originals (though this can also be a criticism given it matches A New Hope near beat for beat). ...

Would love to hear a recorded Mark version!

Edit - damn he also mentioned putting out his original demo of it too, that would be off the charts awesome.

Re: The Star Wars Thread (The Last Jedi Teasers Inside)

Another one I'd really like to see is a KOTOR film. I'd rather see some spinoffs that don't feature characters/events of the original trilogy. Rogue One was great, but they can leave the OT/Vader stuff alone with that one. Agree something from that era could be great, can't see Disney greenlighting...

How is it for planets? I know Jupiter's out at a normalish time over here because I can see it every night (well, when it's not pissing down with rain as it is right now).

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Just on a TABN downswing but it looks like I'm on an upswing now the past few days! I've been trying to get into astrophotography the past few months learning about setups, the physics behind it and the tools for image processing afterwards. About a week ago I took my first astroshoot after a few f...
