I mean it really doesn't feel insane to say that Mark, Myles, Scott and Brian have chosen their own musical direction rather than having been pushed that way, but who knows I guess.

So Elvis has had no influence on AB? Didn't they call him the 5th member???? You're equating that with him "pushing them in a direction", which I think is overstating it a fair way. They like him probably because they share ideas and tastes, and the change of direction from One Day Remain...

Had a good few listens and Brains is out in front with Leave it Alone a bit behind. Brains is legitimately awesome, one of my favourite things Mark has done. Love the "I fear the worst of days are yet to come, wash it down, somehow..." line and the bridge as well, really fucking cool song!...

I think Lindelof just likes asking tons of questions throughout the main bulk of stuff he writes, then promptly fails to answer them come the end, or answers them in really dumb ways. Same with Prometheus recently.
