Apparently about someone that Mark knows who's real talented but tends to waste the chances they get.

UK is 1.23 per 100,000, here's the link - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_co ... icide_rate
It's more than 15,000 murders a year for the US, Jim. According to the source in the article, more than two thirds of those are firearm related.

Couldn't think of where to put this but - just noticed All I Was got to number 2 in the overall UK rock chart! Not bad.

Re: Colorado Movie Theater Shooting
Syria isn't really at all similar to the US, it's been under a dictatorship for many decades and there are a lot of outside forces at work on both sides. Militarily the rebels don't have much chance on their own, any breakthrough will have to be diplomatic, unless a NATO campaign like the one in Lib...

I appreciate the point, but there's really nothing wrong with political debate as long as it's kept reasonably civil.ALTERSTEVE wrote:The fact that you guys have turned this into a political debate is disgusting.

Heh, I actually asked Myles a question about that in one of those q&a things before ABIII, can't remember his response but it was more or less "I'm not a fan or guitar masturbation". Total liar, because they started the live show duel afterwards

Re: Colorado Movie Theater Shooting
But then your defence against tyranny is actually the army themselves, rather than civilians with handguns and rifles. I just think it's outdated for the current times, and people defend the 2nd amendment these days more based on culture and individual protection.

My preference - Leave It Alone
What it will be - The Things I've Seen or So You're Afraid (they'll be the next two singles I'd reckon)

Re: Colorado Movie Theater Shooting
I'm sorry, but you're an idiot and that's a ridiculous statement. We own guns to protect ourselves from the government?? You sound like you've been brain washed by your local gun owners club. People own guns to protect themselves from intruders and attackers. If they dont, they shouldn't own a gun....

The part of the Proof solo that was cut did bore me quite a lot, in fairness.

Re: Colorado Movie Theater Shooting
I completely disagree... It would be up to us, if we were to see this scenario taking shape, to stop it from occurring. Nazi Germany is what we use today as the stereotypical model of a fascist, tyrannical government regime. Atrocities like those that occurred under that regime may not have been fo...

Re: Colorado Movie Theater Shooting
This is exactly why we have the right to bear arms. It keeps a scenario like Nazi Germany from ever occurring here. This is not true. This is absolutely true! Well it is why the 2nd Amendment was put in, yeah, but allowing everyone guns wouldn't have stopped Nazi Germany from happening, and it woul...

What if the guy went through and whacked everyone with a baseball bat? Would we ban little league base all from being played? The bats still a weapon right? Or do yo...

Re: Colorado Movie Theater Shooting
If you were to really do any gun research you'd find that the "Assault Weapons" people keep referring to here are no different from any other rifle of the same caliber... they just look cooler haha... seriously though, an AR-15 is nothing more than a plain rifle of any caliber dressed up ...

Re: So, Creed V's producer(s) are....
Mark said in a fairly recent interview that there was a lot of pressure on him (and presumably Stapp) to release commercially successful stuff with Creed, so it's fair to assume that he wrote with that in mind, and old habits can die hard.

Got to say I think Mark did a sterling job on vocals, both on the CD and live the other night!
Favourites are cemented as Brains and Leave It Alone now, with an honourable mention to the second half of Proof.

Re: All I Was vs. Apocalyptic Love
Probably All I Was just about. We'll have to wait all those years for Myles solo effort to have a proper like-for-like comparison though.
