Re: FUEL 2013 = Puppet Strings

The great thing about the stapp and tremonti thing is that neither of them continued as creed after they broke up. That's true. Both seem to have a mutual respect for Creed in that regard. I know some people like to complain about Stapp playing Creed with his solo band, but that's miles away from a...

Re: FUEL 2013 = Puppet Strings

I liked both Toryn and bells record and i liked puppet strings. But to be honest, at this point, I don't want fuel at all without both bell and scallions and it will never happen. A bell run fuel, judging off his solo works, would not be something im interested in. I don't want a new singer. Just l...

Re: FUEL 2013 = Puppet Strings

God, I wish I knew where all those Fuel fans went. They used to have a very dedicated fanbase similar to Creed's. There's a lot of gaps I don't know how to fill with this band. As I understand it, Brett quit Fuel against Carl's wishes. Carl hires Toryn Green which essentially kills the band, and the...

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread

Its a shame they can't bury the hatchet. I just want proper Creed back again. I'm really curious about those 13 Creed V songs Mark was talking about. Creed is just meant to go the way of Silverchair and Mudvayne where amends just can't be made.

Re: FUEL 2013 = Puppet Strings

I noticed that too. What's strange is leading up to Brett starting his own personal page, was him making posts talking about old Fuel songs, a new album in work, and shutting down reunion rumors. Then all of a sudden Carl Bell starts posting on the Fuel page and Brett's old posts got deleted. Now he...

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread

Not to dump personal issues, but I suffered a horrifying break up with a woman I expected to marry and be the mother of my kids. Her daughter even referred to me as "daddy" in the time we spent together. Myles solo, Tremonti and Alter Bridge (specifically Blackbird) have carried me through...

Re: Underrated Alter Bridge Appreciation Thread

Break Me Down I genuinely thought the dislike for this song was an inside joke or meme amongst Alter Bridge fans when I first found out about it. I've seen a lot of people usually listing it as their least favorite Alter Bridge song and it utterly baffles me. I think all of Blackbird is perfect but ...

Re: Post-grunge & Modern Hark Rock of 00's

Hey dude. Just wanted to say your post inspired me to make my first Youtube video! I made it about Another Animal with my best friend, and for this upcoming week, I plan on doing one for Tantric's original lineup :) Check it out when you can, and thanks for the inadvertent inspiration! https://www.y...

Re: Post-grunge & Modern Hark Rock of 00's

I'm gonna spend forever browsing through the artists you mentioned. I haven't heard of most of these but as someone real into Post Grunge I know I'll like at least a handful. I don't think any of the albums I'll mention will be ones you haven't heard before but here are some of my personal gems. ANO...

On the topic of Christopher Nolan, I rewatched the Batman trilogy this passed week. I forgot how brilliant these films are. The Dark Knight is essentially a perfect movie. The trailer to The Batman looks really good if you haven't seen it yet.

I just finished reading Carnosaur by Harry Adam Knight! I'm surprised he never sued Michael Crichton/Steven Spielberg for the countless similarities between Carnosaur and the Jurassic Park film/novel

Re: BLISSKRIEG (Submersed/Tantric Supergroup)

I haven't listened to a full album from his yet, but the bits and pieces I've heard from Submersed, Eye Empire and Apollo Under Fire shows he's a very versatile performer. The fact that he's worked with members of Tremonti, Sevendust, Dark New Day and Candlebox leaves me very intrigued to see how he...

Re: The DAUGHTRY Thread

I've never enjoyed Daughtry outside of 'It's Not Over'. Quite frankly, I was surprised to have enjoyed World on Fire at all. I've always wished Chris joined Fuel. I really really hate his music, but I think he's a great singer and performer. Had he had someone like Carl Bell writing all the rock hit...

Re: The Official BUSH Thread

I really like The Kingdom. Its not the most redefining album ever but I think it accomplishes what the passed three Bush records did not. While I enjoy something off every Bush album, The Kingdom feels like a proper expansion on the sound the average person knows from Bush. Its definitely the heavie...

Re: Myles Kennedy - "Year of the Tiger"

I barely joined this forum last year, so I missed out on many great discussions when this album was new. However, as I'm listening to it right now, I'm reminded of how much Year of the Tiger means to me, and how it carried me during the many many hardships of 2018, and is doing so once more in 2020....
