Re: AB VI Speculation

Jesus. That hockey game in Tampa could not have possibly been very fun. I was thinking the same thing. I'm surprised he got any good words in with him at all, given the colossal disaster Tampa Bay faced that night. :lol Ya guys , this season...it's like a nuclear meltdown disaster site. Run as fast...

Re: AB VI Speculation

Saw Flip at the hockey game in Tampa on Friday. Talked with him for 10 minutes, the guy is so cool and normal. I was able to tell him how much his music meant to me and how I feel like we grew up together because I have been following his career since 1997. Anyways I prodded him about the new record...

Just amazing. I'm curious to how long they prepared for that. I mean, they had to work it out for at least a half hour. Erics playing a freaking ukulele haha

Re: Unable To See

Usually a couple songs off each record Tremonti is involved in bring me to tears. This is one of them. I don't know what it's about but Mark just knows how to write emotional relatable lyrics that don't necessarily have to be felt in the context of a broader story.

Re: Myles Kennedy - "Year of the Tiger"

On Elvis.... Imagine a bubble , and inside that bubble is all the sound of the song. Nothing breaks out of the bubble with the Elvis sound it's just all in there running into each other and eventually becomes pulverised dust that all looks and sounds the same.

Re: Myles Kennedy - "Year of the Tiger"

It's a decent little tune despite the stink of Elvis Baskette on the production.
I do hope the other album tracks arent really like this song though.

Re: Soundgarden and Chris Cornell

Just saw them 3 weeks ago and I'm glad I did. Been watching the vids from Detroit last night and he did not seem right. He was on something and his voice was a bit weak.
I'll be jamming Say Hello to Heaven on my guitar tonight thats for sure.

Re: The Last Hero - AB Nation Discussion

The mix on this record renders it unlistenable. So disappointed. Did nobody in the band listen to it in their car? Not only do you need to adjust the volume when starting the track but also during the track you have to adjust. It becomes more apparent when I have my entire collection on shuffle and ...

Probably a good chance of a new Creed record in the next couple years after that stinker Alter Bridge just put out.

Re: Depression - What are your experiences?

Get on the right meds and STAY on them. Its (depression) never gonna go away but you can manage and find the right balance if you take the meds seriously. For me, I found my balance when I started taking my physical fitness more seriously. My family has a genetic disposition for depression, and the...

Kinda on/off topic but I feel like Stapp could sound good singing Cradle to the Grave. And I think they are Stapp type lyrics.

Re: The Last Hero - AB Nation Discussion

Still fighting the loudness war on this record. When I have to turn my radio up to hear a soft intro (Otherside) and then down when the song kicks in. This annoys me to death. You know what record you didn't have to do any of that? ODR I just don't understand why everyone mixes music like this today.
