Re: Marching In Time

The thing that sounds a bit weird to me and which happens a bunch of times on the album is the juxtaposition of some unbelievably fantastic heavy thundering thrash intro riffs that then morph into beautiful soaring almost arena rock quality choruses. Both by themselves are so good, but they sort of...

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread

I mean...it ended badly the first 2 times. What's the incentive to try it a 3rd time when you're clearly happy with things as they are now? That's not holding a grudge...it's being realistic, regardless of how it would actually turn out, IMO.

Re: Favorite non-album track?

New Way to Live and then Damage Done would be my choices here. Those are easily 1000x better than any of the other songs on the list, IMO.

Re: Instrumentals

Most songs ave been looking like that for the last 25 years (the loudness war started around 1995) Here's a recent example. Muse remixed its 2001 album sand said this in the press release. Whereas most remix albums aim to radically rework the material, or to switch to an entirely different genre, t...

Re: MK II

Only listened to the song once yesterday (and plan on keeping it that way until the album comes out), so I don't have a lot of specific insight to give on the song other than that I absolutely loved it...just a brilliant song. It didn't feel like it was anywhere near the 8 minute mark when it ended ...

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread

on a unrelated note, shouldn't scott stapp have his own sub forum? tremonti, myles and even projected do. Scott Stapps solo work has nothing to do with creed. I would imagine that TremontI, Myles, and Projected have their own sub forums because they include members of Alter Bridge... Being that thi...

Just wondering.
It was fine, but nowhere near as good as Brian. Brian could've elevated that album so much more, IMO.

It may not have been "in your face" political...but there was absolutely some political stuff in Walk the Sky.

Well that sucks! Especially since I was supposed to see them back in April (obviously postponed due to COVID and I'm assuming completely cancelled at this point).

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread

It is now almost certain that the Creed Instagram page is controlled by Stapp. https://www.instagram.com/officialcreedpage/ At first, there were pictures of each member, but recently, Stapp's been in every single one of them, and he's now plugging his solo stuff and ignoring everything AB-related. ...

Re: Walk The Sky 2.0

I'm so pumped just for Last Rites. AB all cooped up during quarantine and feeling aggressive sounds like something killer is in store for November! The discouraging thing is the time length. BUT, it’s AB, so just don’t give us Losing Patience 2.0 and we’ll be fine. I'm not sure why that's discourag...

Re: Creed getting back together in 2020?

Michael is not Mark. Why would Mark have his brother go out there and speak for him when Mark himself could easily go on his own socials and tell people what he wants. Mark will do what he wants and maybe michael is right and maybe he's not. I think though, there is more demand for a creed record t...

Re: Tremonti on His Relationship With Stapp

One more point I would like to make. Mark has “three bands” okay that’s great. I don’t think Brian hates Stapp, don’t think Flip hates Stapp, Been on record that Stapp would love to do Creed again and I have never heard Brian or flip say that’s not gonna happen. Why’s Mark the dictator of what happ...

I think they're "good" in the sense that they're not around each other to make each other miserable, IMO. I would absolutely love to be wrong, but I really don't think another Creed reunion will ever happen.

Re: The Official LIFEHOUSE Thread

It came out my last year of highschool! Also my favorite year. :) To be honest I was being a little diplomatic. Almeria was really 'One More Light' before One More Light if you know what I mean. The whole album is pure pop and the only song I enjoy enough to regularly revisit is Only You're the One...
