What about The End is Here with that awesome main tune on strings? I think that Most ODR songs will sound good with an Orchestra anyway, since these songs don't sound so full or overproduced like the later records

This is really cool! Also really curious how the setlist is going to look like. Whether they are going to play some songs that they don't play much or stick with the usual ones. I think songs like Burn It Down, Words Darker Than Their Wings and Lover good sound really good with an orchestra.

Yesterday I went to see Alter Bridge for the 8th time. I was happy that they played a lot of new songs and I have to say that they sounded really good live. I still think they sound a bit overproduced on the record though. The dark riff of The Other Side sounded really brutal! Highlights: Blackbird....

It seems like this Battle Of The Track Numbers list is going to be a Fortress record, huh?

Another interesting observation is that despite them saying that they wanted Poison in Your Veins as the first single, which would have put the song into must-play territory for them, that did not show up in this show as well or during the fall US shows before the album was out. I guess it will pop...

Wow! No doubt about that result I guess! To me Ties that Bind is the best opener. After their debut record (which still is my favourite record) I was really curious what they would come up with and the heavyness of TTB was something that really blew me away.
