Re: One Day Remains - 20th Anniversary Content

One other thought. Due to the limitations of Vinyl I wonder if there will be a digital or CD version with more content like what they did with the Creed Human Clay release. Here's hoping!

I'm right there with you. My guess is there is more to this than we understand. Maybe there are some legalities that prevent the guys from releasing them. I'm really underwhelmed by this 20th anniversary release.

Re: One Day Remains - 20th Anniversary Content

Don't want to sound negative again, but that's a pretty lousy 20th anniversary edition. They've proven they have some cool demos lying around (ex. Broken Wings) and now they are releasing a standard album + a bonus track we've already heard + 19-year old live recordings of the songs we've heard tho...

Here we go! The new Linkin Park album early!
I checked it out today (3 full listens) while doing deliveries. It's okay. Two Faced and IGYEIH are my favorites.

I'm still waiting on two new albums so I'll post mine around Christmas or so Yes, I look forward to all of the other members lists too. I need to add a few more albums that I listened t...

Rank Your Top Albums and Songs - 2024 Edition

This is a little early, but I'm moving out of my apartment over the next few weeks and the holidays are fast approaching. Here is my list of albums I've listened to this year. Top Albums, Worst Albums, and Favorite Songs of 2024 along with a list of albums I listened to from previous years. What are...

It has been veeeery quiet. I guess the guys are busy with their solo albums, family, and other interests.

Re: Tremonti - Episode VI: The End Will Show Us How

I listened to One More Time once this morning while eating breakfast. I couldn't help but think...this sounds like Dying To Live by Sevendust. I like it much more than the first two songs, and here's the but...Mark's vocals still sound very distant from the music in the first half of the song. When ...

Re: Your Favorite Albums of All Time

20 is a lot to think about. I'll start and see how far this goes. The top 10 were pretty easy (excluding greatest hits/live albums/compilations) 1. Queensrÿche - Operation: MindCrime 2. Alter Bridge - One Day Remains 3. Iron Maiden - Piece Of Mind 4. Armored Saint - Symbol of Salvation 5. Journey -...

Re: The Art Of Letting Go - MK III

They make most of their money from touring as far as I know. Make shorter EP's if you desperately want some new material to promote, but I largely agree with Dolo. It's really just quantity over quality at this point. Myles has to write so many lyrics and melodies that everything starts to mush tog...

Re: The Official BREAKING BENJAMIN Thread

I really like this new song. * Driving guitars * Soaring chorus * Beautiful harmonies * Memorable - "Stay forever" * Big shout - "Arise!" * Short but tasty solo Other quick thoughts - I enjoyed the Ember album a lot. Nik Nocturnal commented how Ben and Chris from Motionless in Wh...

Re: The Art Of Letting Go - MK III

Initial thoughts...after listening to it in the car today a few times. I like it...and am pleased that it doesn't sound completely like Slash/AB. Saving Face and Dead to Rights fit into that category for me. What Shea, Timotheus, Addicted to Pain, and chtimixeur said - several songs sound like other...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

I hear you, Max. I really like Dayseeker as a band. The synths are, to me, what make them have that pop-metalcore sound. Caskets/Captives shares some of that and more and more bands are incorporating it - Dreamwake, Normandie, Northlane, ERRA, Too Close to Touch, Siamese. I think it's all an off sh...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

https://youtu.be/KV5ffXxFI38 This is a great song, but something about the music, particularly the synths, makes it too "romantic" and "sensual" for my taste. Do you get what I mean? I hear you, Max. I really like Dayseeker as a band. The synths are, to me, what make them have t...
