Re: Myles Kennedy - "Year of the Tiger"

I just don't think this is good. At all. If this is your cup of tea, awesome. I hope it's not a "I love anything Myles makes so I love this" feeling and that you actually like this music though, because this is just such a stark departure from what he's always done. Experimenting is fine,...

Re: Myles Kennedy - "Year of the Tiger"

Absolutely love the new song. I think this one almost has more of a rockabilly vibe, especially with the walking bass line. I too was hoping for a more MF4-esque sound and wasn't blown away with Year of the Tiger at first (still think it's a flawed song), but this song is up there with some of the b...

Re: Myles Kennedy - "Year of the Tiger"

If you don't like this and thought Haunted by Design's an average song, you're not gonna like the full album. Maybe a song or two.

Re: Tremonti pt #4 - A Dying Machine

Not as much as Cauterize, but I definitely didn't dislike it. I think the double albums had 4 or 5 really good songs, a bunch of songs averaging between good and okay and then a handful of fillers. My previous comment wasn't a diss at Cauterize or Dust. I just don't like the idea of them scraping t...

Re: Tremonti pt #4

I’m really excited about this record, but concerned with the production pace... Speaking of this concern again...Erock posted that today(February 1st obviously) is the final day he's tracking Bass after only just starting to track bass on the 29th!? It only took him four days to track 14 songs so I...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Or had a crush big enough.

Love as a noun translated in Dutch is 'liefde', but the verb is something entirely different. Having a crush on somebody is 'verliefd', which is really close to 'liefde'. I feel like we use the word 'love' a lot easier because of that.

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

I always feel when you're dating a colleague you skip a lot of steps, because there's the immediate pressure of it having to work out, because of the awkward and painful aftermath when it doesn't. But to be fair, I've never been so in love with a colleague that I thought the risk was worth it. Not t...

Re: The Official BLACK STONE CHERRY Thread

Not a good thing when it burns down there..

I liked the bridge/solo. For the rest pretty meh indeed. I surprisingly liked their last effort, so I'm hoping for some nice songs on this one.

Re: Myles Kennedy Solo Tour 2018

It's so crazy that this is happening. I watched some Bofest videos last night. That's 9 years ago now, and I always regarded that gig as a once in a lifetime kind of show. Can't believe I'm going to see him play MF4 songs less than 1 hour from where I live.
