What grinds my gears is looking forward to an AB "Live in Milan" dvd that is due in June 2014 but that never arrives...

I used Pavel's "ladder" principles over 2 years. I started with just pullups for the first 8 months then to muscle ups and gradually built up the reps. GTG (grease the groove) really works well for me.

Dunno why we call it that but it's basically a pull up (chin up with palms faced out) then keeping pulling up until I'm over the bar with arms extended, then come back down.
