Re: What grinds your gears?
Anybody ever feel like they're being set up to fail at their job sometimes? Not in a malicious way or anything...just apathy to the nth degree from bosses until something's "on fire" and must finally be dealt with or complications that seemingly arise into a perfect storm of obstacles. So...

Re: The Fitness Thread
I had a beam at home in the basement that I could work up to so didn't have that problem. My friend put a chin up bar in his door frame, good but not enough clearance at the top for a full muscle up. It got him strong and confident enough that he started doing them at the park or gym though. It's am...

Re: The Fitness Thread
I used Pavel's "ladder" principles over 2 years. I started with just pullups for the first 8 months then to muscle ups and gradually built up the reps. GTG (grease the groove) really works well for me.

Re: The Fitness Thread
Dunno why we call it that but it's basically a pull up (chin up with palms faced out) then keeping pulling up until I'm over the bar with arms extended, then come back down.

Re: AB V
I'm the other way around, I'm looking forward to Myle's solo but AB V first. Looks like Tremonti will actually be first however, not complaining though! Love it.

Re: Slip to the Void
I guess if the animation was original then people might like it more but I'm not a gamer so without any reference I liked it as I'd always wanted to see a video for this song, it rocks! It's also better than the official "Isolation" video in my opinion! Wow HappyHogJens if that's the scene...

Re: True Words From Cristina Scabbia
Great to hear, Myles seems like a genuine guy. Also confirmed by Duff: Myles Kennedy came in to sing, and the dude has class and a ton of respect and humility. I like those qualities in a guy. Humbleness can let real inner strength breathe. http://pitriff.com/news/158-duff-mckagan-talks-hall-of-fame

Well I didn't join up for this thread but since I'm here: Warrior diet: 2 Years Current body weight: 192lb Bodyfat by hydrostatic weighing (friend works at a lab): about 10% 5 weeks ago. When I started the diet I was at an estimate (didn't do Hydrostatic weighing just calipers) 30% and 245lb approx....

When I first saw this thread I thought that a new album had been released without me knowing it. Don't give me a heart attack guys! Anyway, I'm glad to hear that one is on it's way even if it's a long as next year. In the meantime I really wish that the "Live in Milan" was out to ease the ...

Does anyone know if the "Live In Milan" DVD has officially been canned or just delayed? I'd love to see it.
