'Slip to the void' kicked this album into being my favorite. That slow yet steady continual buildup is just something else and when it kicks in it doesn't let up until the end. Off the top of my head I pretty much agree that (for the era) its up there with 'Welcome to the jungle' as the best opener.

Fortress is undeniably my favorite album but 'slip to the void' I like so much that I'd listen to just that track over Fortress heh.

I liked it back in the day. It's been years and one of those shows that I wouldn't mind seeing rebooted as it had some really interesting concepts and ideas but the sets, costumes and effects are pretty dated now. I actually watched it on VHS.

Yeah while I appreciate the effort that a fan put into making the video it doesn't really do it for me. I would even have preferred a studio clip like Tremonti's or an overdubbed live concert one.
