Re: Pawns & Kings (Alter Bridge - VII)
I'm predicting this is the last album in their "album every 3 years" tradition. I have a gut feeling Creed is going to push the AB calendar.

Re: Pawns & Kings (Alter Bridge - VII)
Dang I don’t even know what to say. AB were one of my favorite bands for years but TLH and WTS never really grabbed me and I fell out of love with them. But wow, this song is what I’ve been waiting for. It sounds like what they attempted with songs like The Last Hero and Dying Light but never got 10...

I wonder what the band is going to be. E Rock played bass last record so I'm assuming that will be the same. Is Ryan the permanent drummer now?

Re: Creed getting back together in 2020?
I just did a bunch of digging to make sure I wasn't wrong here but (contrary to what I thought too) Elvis had no involvement in Full Circle. It was produced by Howard Benson and mixed by CLA. I think that wall of sound loudness approach is just what Mark has been into for the last 15 years or so.

Would anyone be sweet enough to share Now or Never with a non-Wal-Mart-er?

Re: Royal Albert Hall Setlist/Speculation
Anyone know why the set lengths are so unbalanced? I'm merely curious, having set one half as long as set two was an interesting tactic.

Re: ALTER BRIDGE - Live at the O2 Arena + Rarities
Also anyone notice Save Me was excluded from the Rarities? I would've also liked to see a remixed version of Taco Salad, but Save Me surprised me since it's from album sessions and not a one-off. A remixed version of Ahavo Rabo Taco Salad would have been sick. That song is great, but the mix is def...

Re: ALTER BRIDGE - Live at the O2 Arena + Rarities
I'm peeved. I always buy AB's music but I can't see myself purchasing this album given the really disappointing live mixing and the fact that I have 9 of these studio songs already. Pls give me a break Co.facelessman07 wrote:So like half of the tracks on iTunes are "album only" tracks.

Re: ALTER BRIDGE - Live at the O2 Arena + Rarities
I didn't have many complaints about The Other Side, actually. It sounded a little unpolished and the guitars were sort of dulled, but definitely a step up from a standard concert stream. Still not live album quality to me, but AB has always had some issues in the mix department. Metalingus, however,...

Re: ALTER BRIDGE - Live at the O2 Arena + Rarities
Is Symphony of Agony the proper title of Last of our Kind? And if so, how did their bonus tracks managed to get misnamed on their last two albums?

Re: 2017 U.S. headline tour...........
Just saw them in Rhode Island after seeing them for the first time in Boston. Myles was much more interactive with the crowd in RI, and it was really awesome to see; it was a super relaxed vibe being a Wednesday night and all. I'm a tiny bit bummed they didn't play some different rotating songs that...

Re: The "Cauterize" Listener Review Thread - post yours here
Either this album has to grow on me.. or I just don't like it like I loved All I Was. I feel like Mark has run out of good ideas for songs, both on guitar and vocals, and is now just presenting an album full of variations of previously used ideas. Pretty sure Sympathy used to be an idea that used t...

lol i love irrational reviews and comparisons after listening to a leaked version of an album one time and posting said review later THE SAME DAY. Hey man, I listened to it three times and posted my first impressions! I'm not saying that's how I'm going to feel a month from now but I wanted to get ...

Tie The Noose: The vocals in the verses sound incredibly familiar. Sounds great though. I think it musically kinda sounds like Arm Yourself, but the vocals make a big difference. Not a bad chorus, but nothing special in my opinion. Some cool stuff in the bridge. Probably my least favourite song tog...

Re: Tremonti's second album "Cauterize" June 2015!
I'd probably give it a 7.5/10 overall. The songs that were teased besides Another Heart (Radical Change, Flying Monkeys, Cauterize) are all REALLY good and are probably better than most of All I Was, but as a whole All I Was is a far better album. Arm Yourself sounds too same-y to Radical Change and...

Re: New B-side to be released soon!
I still can't see why All That I Got wasn't on the album, but I understand why Gone wasn't. It's still a good song though, especially that chorus. It's a perfect hype song for this new album.

Re: Cry A River, The New Single.
Am I the only one who thinks Cry A River sounds almost like a watered down Addicted To Pain? There's small portions of it, like parts of the progression, the drum break, and a section of the solo that really resembles ATP, even though ATP is far superior. Almost like Cry A River was a leftover from...
